VolunTeach Peru offer English speakers the chance to volunteer in South America
Saturday 10th July 2010
English is the language of the world, gap year students and young people searching for a summer job can bring their native tongue to the people of Peru and, in turn, benefit by learning a little Spanish.
VolunTeach Peru runs volunteering and working programmes for graduate or undergraduate students interested in working as English Language teaching assistants or teachers in Peru. Each placement also gives volunteers the chance to learn Spanish and experience the true culture of Peru and South America by living with a Peruvian family.
VolunTeach Peru is a Peruvian organisation which has been involved in volunteer and working programmes in Peru since 1999. They are committed to help English speaking travellers and gap year students find an appropriate placement for a year out or summer abroad. Teach English in Peru, learn Spanish and make some time to tour South America on your gap year.
