Volunteering can be challenging so MondoChallenge help you reward yourself afterwards

While a volunteer placement during your career break or time off is a very worthwhile and fulfilling experience, it is also very stretching so why not relax afterwards and treat yourself to some once in a lifetime experiences!
MondoChallenge, the career break specialist, offers career break volunteers placements in 9 countries around the world. Projects include teaching, care work and business placements in Tanzania, India, Nepal, and Ecuador. After taking the time to travel to a country and applying yourself to a project, it is important to reward yourself and take some time to see everything a country has to offer.
One volunteer has spent 12 weeks teaching in a Nepalese village school, but during exam time took the opportunity to do an exhilarating 21 day trek through the magnificent Annapurna national park. Travelling during your volunteer experience not only recharges your batteries, but supports local economies and helps your understanding of local culture.
Other opportunities may include a safari to the endless Serengeti after helping widows set up small businesses, or travelling to the glorious Taj Mahal and spotting tigers after working with disabled children in Delhi.
MondoChallenge believe it is important that their volunteers experience all they can during a career break, so they now have a new specialised travel department that can help those on a voluntary placement plan excursions and adventures, be it trekking, sight seeing or relaxing.
