Kanye West, Noel Gallagher and My Chemical Romance confirmed for Big Day Out in Australia
Friday 16th December 2011
The Big Day Out is Australia and New Zealand's best known festival, held on dates in January and February in six different cities.
Kanye West, Soundgarden, Kasabian, My Chemical Romance and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds are all booked to play the Big Day Out in 2012. The dates and locations include Auckland on the 20th January, Gold Coast on the 22nd January, Sydney on the 26th January, Melbourne on the 29th January, Adelaide on the 3rd of February and Perth on the 5th of February.
Now we may be being dense here, but we cannot see on the BDO website how you can buy tickets from overseas, or at least, how they will be sent to you, but by all means check it out and let us know through Facebook or Twitter the best way of going about it! Tickets are AUD$165 plus booking fees and can be purchased from the Big Day Out website.
Going to a festival is a great way to meet new people on your working holiday in Australia, and knowing what festivals and events are on where and when can be a great way to get work.
