Last chance to join a Raleigh expedition in 2016

The last few spaces remain on this year’s Raleigh expeditions to Borneo, Costa Rica & Nicaragua and Nepal. You could spend 7 or 10 weeks making real lasting change where it matters most. On expedition, you will get to volunteer on projects that really make a difference, develop the skills employers are looking for and make friends from around the world.

What's involved?

Community – Live and work alongside a local community. You could be bringing clean water to a village for the first time, building sanitation facilities or raising awareness of hygiene issues.

Environment – Protect some of the world’s most vulnerable environments through planting trees, construction or supporting a research project.

Adventure – Trek through stunning landscapes and learn camp craft skills as you camp out every night. You’ll need to work as a team to get to your next destination and we give everyone the chance to lead the group for a day.

Raleigh expeditions aren’t holidays. They’re hard work. If you have an open mind, commitment and a desire to change your world for the better, we want to hear from you.

We’re Raleigh International. We’re a sustainable development charity. We believe in the power of young people to create lasting change.
