City Guide to Toronto
Toronto has lots to offer in terms of active city living. Once known as a bit (dare we say it) well, boring, the city is now all about big business, multiculturalism and a buzzing nightlife. Toronto is also a sporting centre with top rated hockey, baseball, basketball and football teams. In winter it gets very cold, but wrap up and try ice skating at the Harbourfront, or dive into one of the cafes on Bloor Street West. The theatre district is the third largest in the world after London’s West End and Broadway in New York.
Facts about Toronto
- More people live in Toronto than in four of Canada's Atlantic Provinces
- There are more than one hundred different languages spoken in the city of Toronto
