City Guide to Montreal
Montreal is Canada’s second largest city after Toronto, and offers everything you would expect from a big metropolis. The city is defined by water - two rivers, the St Lawrence, and the Riviere des Prairies surround it. Dividing the city is the Boulevard Saint-Laurent, a long street that is central to finding your way around the city. All the streets that criss-cross the Boulevard have East (Est) ends, and Ouest (West) ends, so make sure you know which way you are going before you start walking!
