PoD offer great value 1 week – 1 year placements at volunteer projects in Belize, Cambodia, Nepal, Peru, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand and Vietnam.

PoD is a leading non-profit organisation arranging ethical, inspiring and supported volunteering opportunities around the world.

Established in 2001, PoD's aim is to support ongoing projects with their partners in Belize, Cambodia, Nepal, Peru, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand and Vietnam by providing passionate and committed volunteers.  PoD work with long term projects that they know personally and where there is genuine benefit to local communities.

A placement with PoD will not only develop volunteers’ skills and confidence, get them out of their comfort zone and explore incredible parts of the world but also provide the ability to make a genuine difference whilst having an experience which looks great on their CV.

PoD offer gap year, career break, working holiday, volunteer projects and school expeditions from 1 week to 1 year with year round departures.  PoD offer a personal and professional service drawing on years of experience from staff in the UK and overseas.

Volunteers are needed to join animal care, building, child care and orphanages, conservation, teaching and community development projects around the world. So whether you want to learn to dive and contribute to reef conservation on a private island in the Caribbean, work hands on with cheetahs or elephants in South Africa, help at an orphanage in Cambodia or teach on a tropical island in Thailand then PoD have the project for you!

PoD believes in providing challenging, safe and fun experiences for individuals and groups to enjoy.  PoD are passionate about giving volunteers of all ages the opportunity to use their energy, enthusiasm and personality where it counts.

PoD also supports its projects through the Personal Overseas Development Charity (UK charity number 1139629).
